Create your own cookie cutter!
Designing a cutter from scratch
RED lines are cutting edges. Typically used for the outline of a cutter.
BLACK lines are impressions. Used when you want to make marks in the dough, but not cut all the way though.
BLUE lines are supports. These are used to connect everything together and make it all a solid piece.
Some tips:
- Single strokes! The program follows the strokes to make the physical material. Double strokes like Illustrator does will give you wonky results.
- Black fill for more solidity. Like the sun sunglasses and mouth above, use a fill for larger areas.
- No holes! If your inner design has a hole like "O" draw it out like "()". The program fills in the holes and I've been too lazy in the past 5 years to fix it haha. I got used to it.
